Today Jim brought to the office a hearty bucket of pears strategically placed at the entrance door, reminding us all that we’d rather be in the orchard. I ate three this morning right out of the bucket. They were sweet and delicious. Tonight, I made pear nectar (pureed pears and filtered water in the blender with some lemon), then froze the batch for future smoothies.
My favorite smoothy: Pear Nectar, frozen strawberries, frozen or canned peaches and any flavored yogurt you have in the fridge. Easy! Amazingly healthy and delicious.
