Walnuts

There are many methods for harvesting Walnuts.   I used the link below which differed a bit from Grandma’s (to my memory).  There is a lot of work in dealing with Walnuts but it is happy work, joyful actually, sitting on the picnic table processing naturally.. your food supply for winter, not unlike a squirrel.  No chemicals, additives, preservatives.

You can find tons of walnuts in the wild, so don’t worry if you don’t have a tree.  You only have to beat the squirrels to the harvest.   JJ
